Custom homes for Silicon Valley's most demanding lots — and owners.
Ground-up new construction and teardown-rebuilds in Palo Alto, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Atherton and across the Peninsula. We set the standard for high-end residential construction: one accountable builder from raw lot to move-in day.
Why owners choose Nuvision to build their home
A custom home on the Peninsula lives or dies in the details — setbacks, daylight planes, tree ordinances, design review boards, CALGreen and Title 24. We come in early and work shoulder-to-shoulder with your architect, so those constraints shape the plan before they surface as expensive surprises mid-project.
- Preconstruction partnership — we price the design as it develops, so there's no gap between what was drawn and what was priced.
- City fluency — we know how Silicon Valley cities review and inspect high-end residential work.
- Real budgets, early — construction cost informs the design as it develops, not after you've fallen in love with it.
- Green building done right — all-electric, heat-pump and solar-ready construction that clears California's energy code the first time.

Custom home FAQs
How long does it take to build a custom home on the Peninsula?
Plan on roughly 12–18 months of design and city approvals followed by 12–18 months of construction, depending on the city, lot conditions and the complexity of the home. Cities like Palo Alto and Los Altos Hills have more involved design review; we plan the schedule around each city's process from day one.
Do you handle design, or just construction?
We're builders. You bring the architect or designer — or we can introduce you to trusted local firms we work with regularly — and we handle preconstruction pricing and construction under one contract. One team stays accountable for the budget, the schedule and the result.
Can you rebuild on a lot with an existing older home?
Yes. Teardown-rebuilds are one of the most common ways our clients get a new home in an established Peninsula neighborhood. We manage demolition, tree protection, neighbor notification and everything through final inspection.
Do you build green / energy-efficient homes?
Every new California home must meet CALGreen and Title 24 energy standards, and most of our clients go further — all-electric systems, heat pumps, solar and battery readiness, and high-performance envelopes. We plan for these requirements from the start rather than discovering them mid-build.
